In this personal meeting one of our local experts shares information about the current housing market, discusses budgets and neighbourhoods and provides extensive home search advice. The meeting will provide a basis for your own search.
Home finding assistance
Settle Service will conduct a home finding meeting (personal or through Skype), in which we will analyse your housing requirements and wishes. Based on our analysis, we will search the entire market and share weblinks to available/suitable houses via your personalised and secure account in our MySettleService portal. We will set up and accompany viewings to the properties of your choosing. Settle Service will negotiate the rental contract and coordinate the move-in date;
Executive home finding (no commission)
Settle Service will conduct a home finding requirement analysis (personal or through Skype), in which we will analyse the housing requirements and wishes. Based on this, we will search the market and share links to available/suitable properties through our portal. We will arrange viewings and accompany you during the viewings on 1 day. Settle Service will negotiate the rental contract and coordinate the move-in date;
Executive home finding (with commission)
Settle Service will conduct a home finding requirement analysis (personal or through Skype), in which we will analyse the housing requirements and wishes. Based on this, we will direct the search to one of our SLA real estate partners. Together with them, we search the entire market and will set up and accompany a 1 day tour of suitable properties. Settle Service will negotiate the rental contract and coordinate the move-in date. This service can be extended into a 2 or 3 day viewing tour.

Once a suitable property is found, we are by your side and negotiations will start. Once an agreement has been reached with the seller, we will coordinate the signing of the documentation and advise on a reliable notary.
Marketing assistance home sale
We will contact real estate agents to estimate the value of the property. The real estate agents will be welcomed to the house by a Settle Service consultant. We will contact the selected agent regularly in order to discuss the progress of the sale and will discuss steps needed with the agent and your employee. The programme stops when the house is sold.
Representation at notary
In case you are physically no longer in the Netherlands, Settle Service can legally represent you at the notary and sign documentation on your behalf.
Property Management (Occupied)
In case you would like to keep your property when moving out the Netherlands (temporarily or not), we can unburden you by managing your property on your behalf. We coordinate the process of renting out your property and make sure the house is rented as soon as possible.. When a tenant moves in or out, we will perform a move in/out inspection and act on your behalf as home owner.
Property Management (Vacant)
In case you would like to keep your property when moving out the Netherlands (temporarily or not), we can unburden you by keeping an eye on your property. We will pay a visit to the house on a monthly basis, check the house, the premises and will contact you if major repairs need to be done. We can work with an agreed budget for minor repairs.
Found your new home? It’s time to move in! It is important to make sure that the move-in is well coordinated and documentation is in place. We can be there for you during these final steps of the housing process by providing the following services:
Move in inspection
Right after the signing of the contract, a move in inspection will be arranged by Settle Service. One of your local consultants will describe the status of the property and check the appliances. All notes are combined in an extensive report and photos will illustrate the current condition of the property. This report is very important at the end of the lease period. With this proof, negotiations about the return of the deposit will be less time consuming and will have a better result.
Hook up utilities
Gas, water, electricity, television, telephone and internet connections are set up.
